Geographie
Lithlad ist eine Ebene im nordöstlichen Mordor. Dieses weiträumige und von Asche bedeckte Gebiet liegt östlich von Barad-dûr am Fuße des Aschengebirges, welches die Nordgrenze Mordors bildet.
Etymologie
Lithlad bedeutet "Ebene der Asche", von "lith" = "Asche" und "lad" = "Ebene".
