Tharni

Tharni ist eine Silbermünze in Gondor, die einem Viertel Castar (Quenya: Canath) entspricht.

Etymologie

Tharni ist ein Begriff aus dem Westron und eine ältere Form des Wortes "tharantīn", was soviel wie "Viertel" bedeutet. Das Wort taucht unter anderem als Bezeichung für ein Gebiet als auch als Währung auf.
